For Reema Narula Bandlish, an IIT-Delhi alumna, seasoned educator, and EdTech innovator, the question was simple yet profound — “Why does math, a subject built on logic and clarity, often feel confusing and intimidating to students?” This question became the seed of Simplified Mathematics — a platform built to make mathematics clear, enjoyable, and accessible to every child.
Reema’s journey spans over 15 years in mathematics education. She began her career teaching in some of India’s top schools, where she gained firsthand insight into how students perceive and engage with math. Later, her decade-long experience in leading EdTech companies allowed her to explore the power of technology in transforming how students learn. Through these experiences, she discovered a common gap — while technology could make learning faster, true understanding required depth, empathy, and expert-designed pedagogy. That realization sparked a new mission.
Simplified Mathematics was founded with a clear and heartfelt vision — to bring expert-curated, concept-driven math learning to every child across the country. Reema and her team spent three years researching, testing, and developing content that bridges classroom precision with digital interactivity. The goal wasn’t just to teach math — it was to make students think mathematically, nurture their reasoning abilities, and prepare them for Olympiad-level challenges, all while ensuring that learning stays joyful and engaging.
